OUR VISION
The 12 Week Fitness app has come a long way since the beginning. The challenge was how to make it faster, easier and all around a better user experience? We tested many different methods and found that by having quick access to each muscle group directly from the Calendar View, gave users a faster setup time when they start working out. Example: Add in Incline Bench Press, do your set, scroll the weight and reps, press Next Set. Continue till you're done and press finish. Everything is automatically saved through iCloud. Thats how simple it is! Add in another workout and keep going. Later in the evening you decide to do Cardio or maybe you forgot to add in your cardio from that morning or a workout from another day. No problem, select the day on the Calendar and touch Add Workout.
12 Week Fitness Pro 4.0 has been stripped down and re-calibrated to speed up how much time we use our phones during our workouts daily.
OUR HOPE
Since there is so many different workout routines worldwide we decided to go with simplicity and keep the crucial information at the forefront of 12 Week fitness app and allow each user to decide what is best for them.
OUR DESIGN
From the start we wanted 12 Week Fitness to be an easy app that anyone can work with. Their is so many complicated apps that are amazing and beautiful, but do to designed flaws they are intense and sometimes take way more time to do simple things than they should. This is a app to help keep track of your workouts on a daily basis, not something that needs to take more than a few minutes a day to add in. One thing we hate is Ads! Personally we all feel that a one time charge is much better than every few minutes watching a video or popups at the worst time.
SUCCESS
Through extensive testing on all types of people, we have found that the best possible solution for tracking our daily workouts is by keeping the app simple, fast and visually appealing. Simplicity is the key. Steve Jobs stated “Quality is much better than quantity. Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works." The 12 Week Fitness apps purpose is to surround the main focus. . . Workout HARD!
